Magic is real (cont’d) – Connections

Our attempts to understand things that sometimes cannot be understood, or explained, could be the result of some sort of a conspiracy by multiple life elements, all of which aggregate to make things happen, despite our futile trials to deter their occurrence. Is it luck? Is it fate? Is it a coincidence? … you wonder again, “what happened?” . And you wonder again… until you fall in love with that mystery. And it is only then, only when you fall in love with that mystery, that reality becomes fiction, and magic becomes real.

Have you ever wondered how we got to create our social and personal environments? Have you ever wondered how and why we chose each other? Have you ever felt that a flower has bloomed inside you after you’ve had a pleasant, simple, inspiring conversation with a person?

It’s impressive, how we react to the world around us! We hear those silent yet loud voices coming from people around us. We call them vibes, as we resonate to their blow. Some are positive and attract you, while others are negative and push you back. I’ve always wondered why sunflowers are my favourite! The beauty of nature is far too divine to be limited to a sunflower. But sunflowers remain impressive! When the sun calls, they respond! They turn their faces to the sun, as if a magical connection is driving their motion. Connections…!

The connections we establish with the varying elements of this planet are the pure reflection of the magic hidden in every corner of this world. It’s like a golden bridge accessible to all. It’s like a diamond ring affordable to all. It’s like a chain of stars linking the earth to the moon. It’s like a delicate hope connecting dreams to reality. It’s like a heavenly angel connecting death to life.

How many times have you passed by strangers on the streets and was greeted with a smile? How do you feel when a stranger smiles to you? You establish a connection, as if a very fine line has tied you two. Picture this very little, angelic, soft line. What could it be made of? Imagine a magical mixture of clouds, fresh air, petals and light. What a divine combination! It’s warm, tender, and fresh! You meet a stranger, and your encounter is climaxed with a smile, this magical curve that miraculously heal the deepest wounds. Those wounds that search for forgiveness, for love, for attention… every single day! You smile back, as if that curve has gone into a spontaneous magical metamorphosis to become a sunray, a sunray that crossed all the boundaries you have built to separate your true, real inner self from the world around you. While that curve might straighten up again, when you two move on to your separate destinations, its imprint remains, graved on the surface of your lips, as if those lips have created a memory of all the magical smiles you have taken, or perhaps stolen… to promise an eternal remembrance.

Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve heard someone speaking your mind, articulating all the words you’ve been echoing to yourself, visualizing, reflecting on? How many times have you been hunted by an idea, a thought, that has been talking to every cell inside your brain, and then suddenly… you hear it spelled out, magically, unexpectedly, by another one, a loved one, with whom you might have established an imaginary magical connection as well? That same idea becomes music to your ears and letters start flowing like musical notes, composing the most beautiful symphonies of all times, and it goes on and on, like a butterfly in the air, uniting you, connecting you!

What if an angel has spread his wings over your soul, covered you while dreaming, and then kissed you while sleeping? What if that angel is your grandfather, who no longer belongs to this world, but with whom you enjoy the deepest most meaningful conversations? And you wonder, is it a dream or a reality? Perhaps it’s in between, where a secret path connects your memories, tells your stories, and listens to your sorrows. Perhaps that path is where you promised to meet, outside the boundaries of space and time. Perhaps there lies a free world for free spirits.

How many times have you thought of him? How many times have you wished for a magic ride to take you away from your wishful thinking to his arms? Have you ever thought he might be feeling the same? When you think of him, and your inner self desperately longs to embark on an imaginary journey bridging your fantasies and his… and then the hope becomes tangible, when suddenly, your pathways accidentally cross, in the strangest places you can think of!

The connections we found and nurture in the vast fields of our existence, are all born out of magic. Invisible like a buried desire, hidden like an inhibited fear, mysterious like a story with no end, unexpected like a story with no beginning… connections are here to link us, shake us, and make us feel alive. They exist to remind us of the beauty of relationships. They feed the souls on the verge of fusion. Connections are a blend of colours, that collided, and produced a pure, serene white colour.

Connections are magical and transcend geographical, emotional, and social boundaries! After all, what could be more magical than two people living on two different sides of the world, yet looking at the same moon? What if that same moon, is the bridge between their fantasies, dreams, desires, and aspirations? If that’s the case, haven’t we all walked on the moon by now? Connections… indeed… are nothing less than magical!
